Oma Jali is a multifaceted artist.
Born in Cergy, France, this singer-songwriter first caught attention by finishing second in the Sankofa Soul Contest in 2015. However, it was in 2016 that she truly stood out during her appearance on The Voice France (Season 5), where she reimagined Dire Straits’ “Money for Nothing” with a Trap/Rock twist.
In 2017, she became the frontwoman of The Noface, alongside the four musicians from Skip the Use. Together, they toured numerous festivals and released Chapter One, a Rock album she co-wrote and composed, infusing it with her unique blend of hip-hop, soul, and reggae.
Since 2022, Oma Jali has been performing internationally as a backing vocalist for Italian artist Zucchero and his prestigious band.
Now, she is launching her solo career with her debut EP « CHALLENGE », set for release on October 17, 2025, under the M&O Music label.
